If you appreciate premium products but hate paying the 'dental tax', working capital is sacred in a startup office. One easy item to self-manage is your emergency kit. Keep in mind, one of the most common people involved in a dental emergency is the doctor themselves! It's crucial to train your team and create easy-to-follow protocols for addressing emergencies. TL;DR: 1. Organizer Kit from Amazon 2. Ordering Google Sheet (FREE download provided) 3. Order Supplies (Amazon, BoundTree, etc). The best way to stock your Emergency Kit is to buy common OTC drugs yourself and track expiry dates. Many kits are 2-3x the cost compared to DIY. Note: Your Emergency Kit can vary based on your state guidelines and sedation permits. Pro Tip: For epinephrine, you can buy ampules and use insulin syringes pre-marked for adult vs pediatric dosages. The same can be done for flumazenil or any multi-dose vial.
