Dr. Ryan spent his childhood in Point Loma, went to school here, and was shaped by this tight-knit, coastal community. His dad helped build many of the homes in the neighborhood, and that connection gave him a deep love for the people and stories that make Point Loma feel like family. This is the place that taught him the importance of kindness, service, and showing up for your neighbors.
After years of training and practicing as an associate, he knew he wanted to bring everything he’d learned back to the community that built him. Point Loma wasn’t just a place to work. It was the only place that felt like home.
With a clear mission and a deep love for the neighborhood, Dr. Ryan built Harbor Dental from the ground up. A modern, patient-focused practice rooted in compassion, authenticity, and the belief that every smile deserves thoughtful care.
Dr. Ryan continued to elevate the patient experience with additions like CEREC same-day crowns, Digital Smile Design, 3D printing, and advanced imaging. The goal was simple. Better tools mean better outcomes.
Harbor Dental grew into a trusted home for cosmetic transformations, smile design, airway and sleep screenings, and patient education. Through it all, our commitment to the Point Loma community remains the heart of everything we do.
Harbor Dental was built on the idea that when a community invests in you, you invest right back. For Dr. Ryan, Point Loma is more than home. It’s family, history, and heart. Supporting local organizations and causes is simply our way of saying thank you.
